The quota list of the departments of the Graduate School of Health Sciences for citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), within the scope of the fields of need determined by the Ministry of National Education of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for the 2026–2027 academic year, is provided below.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PHD APPLICATIONS BY TRNC CITIZEN STUDENTS

1. ALES Score Report + Foreign Language Score Report
2. Bachelor's and Master's degree certificate(s).

(3) Candidates who completed their master's education abroad are required to submit the following documents:

a) A “Recognition Certificate” or “Diploma Equivalency Certificate” issued by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK),

b) The original diploma or a certified copy, together with a notarized Turkish translation. The overall grade point average must be stated both on the original/certified copy and in the notarized Turkish translation.

c) The original transcript or a certified copy, together with a notarized Turkish translation. The overall grade point average must be stated both on the original/certified copy and in the notarized Turkish translation.

ç) Candidates applying to Turkish-medium programs must submit, if available, a Turkish proficiency certificate at least at B2 level obtained before the application date from the Turkish Language Teaching, Application and Research Centers (TÖMER) of state universities and approved by Gazi TÖMER.

d) Students holding dual citizenship or acquiring Turkish citizenship after enrollment shall continue their education under the status under which they were admitted, and this status cannot be changed.

(4) Students placed in the program who do not have a Turkish proficiency certificate at B2 level are required to submit, within no later than two semesters, a proficiency certificate obtained from Gazi University TÖMER demonstrating Turkish proficiency at least at B2 level. Failure to submit this certificate will result in termination of the student's enrollment at the Institute.

(5) Foreign national candidates must submit their PhD applications in person or through persons authorized by a notarized power of attorney. The candidate is responsible for incomplete documents and incorrect declarations. If any deficiency, error, misleading information, or inability to verify the information with the relevant authorities is identified following the verification process, the candidate's enrollment will be cancelled even if final registration has already been completed.

(6) Candidates who fail to complete their registration within the specified dates shall be deemed to have waived their rights.
