🎓 ENS-85 Scientific Research Methods and Ethics Course and the Seminar Course are compulsory.
🎓 Students must pass compulsory/elective courses.
🎓 In the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th semesters, a “PhD Thesis Preparation Course” opened by the advisor must be taken in addition to program courses; during the thesis period, the “PhD Thesis Study” course opened by the advisor is taken.
🎓 A maximum of 40 ECTS can be taken in one semester. Courses can be taken until the end of the 4th semester. The proficiency exam must be taken by the end of the 5th semester.
🎓 Within one month after the proficiency exam, the Thesis Monitoring Committee is established. The thesis proposal is defended before the Committee within six months. A presentation is made to the Committee every six months. No courses can be taken during the thesis period.
🎓 For the thesis defense, the student’s GPA must be at least 3.0/4.0. Minimum passing grade for courses is CB.
🎓 The publication requirement stated in the regulations must be fulfilled.
🎓 The thesis must be written according to the “Thesis Writing Guide”.
🎓 Application must be made to the institute with advisor and department approval.
🎓 The Thesis Defense Jury is determined with the decision of the Institute Administrative Board. Afterwards, the related form is submitted to the Institute. The thesis defense exam is taken.
🎓 The student who is successful in the thesis defense exam must submit the exam result to the institute through the department within three days. Additionally, required graduation documents and the approved bound thesis must be delivered to the institute. Graduation is finalized with the decision of the Institute Administrative Board.
