Activities Organized with Our Postgraduate Alumni

It is expected that you carry out the activities listed below, based on the Gazi University Institutional Improvement Program (GÜ KİP-2024) report, and in consultation with our graduate alumni.

• LYK-S 2024/98: Organizing events to present the advantages of joining the Alumni Information System after graduation in order to increase the number of active alumni registered in the system. (SEP F.1.3.1.)
• LYK-S 2024/89: Conducting studies to enhance the efficient use and widespread impact of the Alumni Information System. (LYK 2021/23-a).
• LYK 2024/100: Organizing meetings that bring together successful Gazi University alumni employers, students, academicians, and bureaucrats. (LYK 2022/8).
• LYK 2024/138: Organizing alumni gatherings with a specific name/slogan and setting a tradition (e.g., 10-year alumni, 20-year alumni), including giving commemorative plaques. (LYK 2021/23-d)
• LYK-S 2024/142: Making the employer satisfaction survey mandatory as evidence in the BİDR files for senior students completing workplace training, internships, and teaching practice. (LYK 2021/55-b).
• LYK 2024/146: Issuing certificates to alumni at every 10-year milestone.
• Regular meetings with alumni to ensure that program objectives are achieved and to confirm that educational needs of students and society are being met, as well as conducting reviews and updates of the programs at regular intervals.
• EÖ 2024/39: Expanding the implementation of thesis and poster competitions/exhibitions/graduation project competitions within units at undergraduate and graduate levels under the "Incentive and Award Directive for Educational Activities" prepared by the Education Commission. (EİF 2022/13-a)
• EÖ 2024/46: Increasing the number of printed/online library resources through alternative funding sources such as alumni and sponsors. (EİF 2023/2 (SEP F.1.1.2.)
• LYK 2024/12: Preparing improvement plans based on the results of institutional feedback reports/GU Institutional Monitoring Reports/KİDR/Satisfaction Surveys/Alumni Surveys/Employer Surveys. (LYK 2021/11).
• AG 2024/51: Organizing workshops with experienced entrepreneur-academicians who are Gazi alumni and announcing their success stories at Gazi University. (AİF 2022/16).
• AG-S 2024/59: Collaborating with Teknopark A.Ş. to reach alumni and students who conducted internships. (AİF 2021/ (KYİF.23/e).
• TK 2024/44: Increasing student projects (graduation, TÜBİTAK, etc.) aimed at disadvantaged groups included in the current priority societal contribution areas list of our university. Support can also be provided through the Tuesday Conferences; if you notify us of topics and speakers, they may be included in the Tuesday Conference schedule.
