Evaluation and Announcement of Results (Fall 2023-2024)

2023-2024 FALL SEMESTER RANKING SCORE EVALUATION RATES

1. No more than one application can be made to the programs announced in our Graduate School (except non-thesis master's programs) at the same time. In non-thesis programs, the evaluation of each program to which the candidate applies is calculated independently.

2. Preliminary evaluation and entrance success score calculation is based on Gazi University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations. The scores obtained are ranked starting from the highest and students are admitted as many as the announced quota.

3. As a result of the evaluation; If there is equality in placement scores, the candidate whose date of birth is closer to the present (younger age) is given priority. The results are announced on the web address of the relevant institute.

4. The percentage weights of ALES score (at least 50%), Weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) and Foreign Language Score to be used in the evaluation are decided by the Board of Directors of the Graduate School with the decision of the Academic Board of the relevant Department. 5. Preliminary Screening (Determination of candidates who are eligible to take the entrance exam): In programs that will apply the written and / or interview scientific evaluation exam, ranking is made by using the evaluation ratios (ALES, AGNO and Foreign Language Score) determined by the Departments "Except for the Exam". Three times as many candidates as the announced quota are taken to the scientific evaluation exam.

6. Candidates whose written and/or interview scientific evaluation exam score (out of 100) is below 50 points for master's degree and 60 points for doctoral program are not calculated and are evaluated as unsuccessful. (G.Ü. Graduate Education Application Principles M2/2).

7. Determination of Results: Ratios to be used in the calculation of the Success Score, which is determined separately for each program in the programs that will conduct entrance exams; The scores obtained according to the percentile ratios of ALES, Graduation Score AGNO, Foreign Language Score and Entrance Exam Grade are ranked starting from the highest, and candidates with a ranking score of 60 and higher are taken into consideration within the quota. 8. ALES is not required for PhD, Specialization in Medicine (TUS), Specialization in Dentistry (DUS), Specialization in Pharmacy (EUS) graduates to apply to master's and / or doctoral programs, and the ALES score to be included in the calculations in their applications to the relevant programs is determined as 70 with the decision of Gazi University Senate. Candidates who meet the other Special Conditions of the program will be able to apply.

9. Graduation grade or weighted grade point average calculation is based on the 4 point and 100 point system conversion table of the Council of Higher Education.
