 ✔Makes and approves course selections, course changes, course additions and drop-offs within the period determined in the academic calendar, with the direction and approval of the related institute department head.

✔ The success letter grade of the course must be at least CC.

✔ At the end of the semester, it recommends a faculty member as a consultant to the Institute Administrative Board. (Form 2)

 ✔Makes and approves course selections, course changes, course additions and drop-offs, with the guidance and approval of the relevant institute advisor, within the period determined in the academic calendar.

✔The success letter grade of the course must be at least CC.		 ✔ Determines the thesis topic until the end of the second semester at the latest and reports it to the head of the department (Form 3).
✔He opens a “Thesis Preparation Course with Specialization” for each student he supervises.

✔ The consultant makes the evaluation of the thesis preparation courses and enters the grades in the Student Affairs Information System as successful (B) or unsuccessful (F) within the period determined in the academic calendar.		 ✔Submits the thesis topic determined by the advisor to the Graduate School by the end of the second semester at the latest (Form 3)

✔ At the end of the 2nd term; It takes at least 9 (elective/compulsory) courses including Scientific Research Techniques. He must be successful in all the courses he has taken.


✔ In order to register for the Thesis Study, the GPA must be at least 2.50/4.00 (CB).


✔ Enroll and approve the Thesis Study and Specialization Course within the period determined in the academic calendar.

✔Notifies the thesis proposal to the head of the department (Form 3).

✔Makes the evaluation of the thesis work with the field of specialization, and enters the grades in the Student Affairs Information System as successful (B) or unsuccessful (F) within the time specified in the academic calendar.

✔ Submits the Thesis Proposal sent by the student's advisor to the Graduate School. (Form 3).

Thesis Defense and Subsequent Procedures

✔ To be successful in all the courses taken.

 ✔Having a general academic average of 2.50/4.00

✔Scientific Research Techniques and Publication Ethics course taken.

✔He/she writes his/her thesis in accordance with the thesis writing rules approved by the Senate and defends his/her thesis before the jury at the latest until the beginning of the following semester.

✔ To have at least one paper that he/she prepared with his/her advisor, presented orally or as a poster at a national or international conference, congress or symposium, or one scientific article accepted for publication in a national/international peer-reviewed journal (with a DOI number)/published
✔Delivers the thesis to the jury members appointed by the institute board of directors within 15 days at the latest.

✔If he/she is successful in the exam, he/she submits a bound thesis, CD and other graduation documents to the Institute by making the corrections suggested by the jury, if any, within one month at the latest.		 ✔ Recommends the thesis defense jury to the head of the department (Form 13)

✔At the latest until the beginning of the following semester, the thesis prepared by the student is checked for compliance with the thesis writing rules approved by the Senate, and reports the plagiarism report of the thesis to the Department.

✔ Submits the thesis defense jury, which is formed upon the recommendation of the advisor, to the Graduate School (Form 13)

✔Submits the Thesis Defense Report Form (Form 14) and personal reports form (Form 15) to the Graduate School within three days.
