As the Graduate School of Health Sciences, we carried out the first phase of our Social Responsibility Project titled “Little Breaths Are Safe: The Heimlich Maneuver” with the parents of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Kuşcağız Children’s Activity Center.
Under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Naime ALTAY, and in line with the information provided and demonstrated by Res. Asst. Dr. Rukiye ÇELİK and Res. Asst. Mukaddes BAŞKAYA, parents practically performed the procedural steps on a mannequin. Evaluations were also conducted using the First Aid Skills Assessment Form.
