The doctoral dissertation titled “Development and In Vitro – In Situ Evaluations of Exemestane-Loaded Self-Emulsifying Drug Delivery Systems” by Burcu TİMUR, conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zeynep Şafak TEKSİN, faculty member of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Institute of Health Sciences, was awarded the “Best Doctoral Thesis Award in Health Sciences” within the scope of the 2025 Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Outstanding Achievement Awards. This prestigious award was presented by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, during the 2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony of the Council of Higher Education held on October 9, 2025, with the participation of YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR. The doctoral thesis titled “Transcriptional and Post-Transcriptional Epigenetic Changes in Male Infertility” by Dr. Süheyla Esra ÖZKOÇER, a 2024 Ph.D. graduate of our Institute’s Department of Medical Biology and Genetics, completed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ece KONAÇ, was awarded the First Prize in the Biennial Graduate Thesis Awards by the Society of Medical Biology and Genetics at the 19th Congress of Medical Biology and Genetics held in Bodrum between October 27–30, 2025. We congratulate our student and advisor and wish them continued success.

The article titled “Digital Storytelling in the Symptom Management of Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Randomized Controlled Study Based on Peplau’s Interpersonal Relations Theory”, derived from the doctoral dissertation of Birgül ERDOĞAN, a 2025 Ph.D. graduate of our Institute’s Department of Nursing under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Naime ALTAY, was awarded the First Prize in the Experimental Study Category at the 9th National, 5th International Mediterranean, and 4th International Pediatric Nursing Congress held in Mersin between November 5–8, 2025.
